I just finished reading Don't Breathe A Word by Holly Cupala. I have to say, at first, it started off rather slowly. I was having a hard time getting into it because it was very confusing and hard to follow.

The book starts off with Joy, the main character, getting ready to go on the run. However, you don't know what it is exactly that she is running from. This goes on for a couple of chapters until you start to piece it together and by a little more than halfway you finally get the full story/reason for her running away.

Over all, it was a wonderful book, an eye opener to the things we've learned to ignore in our everyday lives. You learn to love and care about the characters, to want to know what makes them ache and why. Its a little painful having to read what they had to go through and thinking if anything could ever make YOU as the reader get to that point.

I would def recommend this book to anyone who hasnt read it yet. Its worth it.

I'd give this book a 4.5/5
