We Die Alone is a moving narrative of one man's will to survive against all odds. It is the story of Jan Baalsrud, a Norwegian man, trained in England during WWII who risks his life to to and free his country from Nazi occupation. Jan alone survives the initial landing. Yet, this does not stop him. He embarks on an amazing journey of pure will to survive. "We Die Alone" also highlights the brave men and women who risked their lives to save his.

This is not a new book. It isn't a fictionalized version of a real event. What takes place in the book truly happened, even though it seems beyond reason that it could.
