** spoiler alert **
For some reason I didn't love this book. It felt to me like pieces were missing. To me the whole CIA piece was good, but a jump. Also for me too much was left unexplained, for instance who poisoned Mrs. Wellevier (Maura assumes it was the professor) but it was never definitive. Also did Teddy's dad set up the murder of his whole family, or where they ambushed and only Teddy and his dad survived. How does Teddy's dad get shot in the neck, and then just walk out of the hospital. I suppose w/enough money/power you could get people to say things that aren't true, but Maura, Teddy, and Claire all saw how serious his wounds were. This book is toted as a Rizzoli and Isles book but it's more Isles than Rizzoli, were Rizzoli feels like a back seat character rather than an equal, or like the first couple of books the main character. It would be nice if Maura found some happiness. Definantly another book coming, will read it to see where the Rizzoli and Isles books are going. I dunno, by the end of the book, the pieces didn't click into place like they normally do for me when I finish one of her books.
