** spoiler alert ** This was a pretty funny story about a boy who LOVES chocolate more than he loves any other food . . . until the day he gets "the chocolate touch". I can't remember exactly how it happens, but anything he touches to his two front teeth turns to chocolate. There's this one scene when the boy is waiting for the bus, and he eats his gloves (it's wintertime). Some other children (bullies, I think) see him and try to eat their own gloves but of course, their gloves aren't chocolate. The touch is great until he gets sick of eating chocolate . . . and after he goes to kiss his mother and turns her into a big chocolate statue, he decides he has to get rid of it. It's cute and pretty funny. I think it was one of those in class reads in second or third grade or so.
