So I was struggling between giving this a 2-star rating or a 3-star, and then decided it really wasn't a bad story, hence the 3-stars.
The plot was a little different from the usual teen romance books we usually read, but it wasn't necessarily anything new. I liked that they added a serial killer thing into the mix to spice things up a bit.
However, I wasn't too fond of the characters. I thought Seth was a little too intense and stalker-ish. I think the author pushed his character a bit too much. It was like he was obsessed with Ellie, instead of being in love with her. I didn't really care much for Ellie either. I think I liked Dave and Angela more.
Another thing I didn't like about this story was all the temper tantrums being thrown around. Both Seth and Ellie were such angry people, it was almost irritating. Would it hurt to just calm down and talk things through a little properly?
But anyway, aside from all that, this was an okay read. It managed to keep me reading until the end.
