As a journalist and blogger, it is Faith’s responsibility to make sure she does her research on the topics she presents to her readers. As it turns out this latest article is going to require an extensive and personal exploration of the body and she is going to need someone of the male persuasion to help her. An open mind and a willing body is what Faith needs, but having no thought as to how to find such a man is a problem. Or not a problem where her friend Rusty is concerned. He volunteers for the sexy experiment and believes their friendship is strong enough to stand the test when the seven sins are completed. After recovering from the initial shock of his willingness, Faith remains a bit skeptical since she’s harbored a crush on him for the longest time yet agrees with the stipulations. However, as they set out to fulfill each sinful desire, emotions hard pressed to remain hidden come racing to the surface and begin fracturing their friendship while revealing the possibilities of something more. Rusty’s reluctance and Faith’s fear of a broken heart only magnify the intensity of emotions that explode with each encounter as they live for the seven moments they have together.

Fun, sinful, and of colorfully sexy, this story is a buffet of wicked deliciousness. Faith’s erotic journey is brilliantly and creatively well done with genuine characters and stimulating imagery. I appreciated the realism instilled in each scene from the racy to ridiculous parts of their intimate moments. The author effectively mixes humor and meaning into each scene with a gradual intensity I didn’t expect. The characters are likable and with a friendship already in progress, it was easy to fall into a connection with them. Each new sinful excursion was a feast for my reading senses and I often found myself smiling at the pair and their inability to stop wanting each other outside of the bedroom. Faith’s innocence and enthusiasm as well as Rusty’s confidence and inexperience in the art of emotional sex make them a couple to root for. It is a test of friendship and self-awareness that I thoroughly enjoyed with wonderful character growth, a generous pacing, and an outstanding storyline.

Readers concerned with some of the sexual elements in the story should fear not as they are not prevalent throughout and hold meaning to only certain parts of the story. This story is sure to inspire readers looking to experiment and broaden their sensual and kinky desires.

I ♥ Bookie Nookie (bookienookiereviews.blogspot.com) I am curious how you guys do your reviews. Do you have reviewers who read the books and then you post their reviews... in essence posting the same review twice? With the exception of the beginning it is the same exact review.

*yadkny*'s review of SEVEN SEXY SINS

Judy & Marianne from Long and Short Reviews While our reviewers aren't supposed to cross post their reviews ... in this case, it did happen. Yes, they were reviewed by the same person and the review was crossposted to her account as well.

I ♥ Bookie Nookie (bookienookiereviews.blogspot.com) Well, there's plenty more where that came from...lots more.

This is precisely the kind of activity that readers and reviewers complain about - this skews the average rating especially if there is a double post on every single review you post. It is misleading. The double reviews I posted below...that's just the tip of the iceberg.

I couldn't find anywhere that states that you guys are not actually the one reviewing the books...and here I was thinking you guys were some super speed readers - lol...shame on me! I review for several sites and they don't post the reviews on Goodreads that others write - they post it on their blog/site and credit the reviewer with the review. Seems a little suspect to me.

♆ BookAddict ~ La Crimson Femme Huh, well that explains some things. I was confused too.

I ♥ Bookie Nookie (bookienookiereviews.blogspot.com) Actually, I was reading a review and I thought that we had are ridiculous case of plagiarism on our hands...

I did notice that the beginning of most of these reviews are slightly different, so if you are just skimming through the reviews and not reading the entire thing, you don't notice it.

When I was reading one of the reviews...then the other review I was like: WAIT! Didn't i just read this same exact sentence in the last review...WAIT! NO! the same exact paragraph... silly me! It was just the same review posted twice by 2 different people. Weird...

Judy & Marianne from Long and Short Reviews Ref: "And ... no response to that!"

We run two very large review and promotion websites, and sometimes manage to have outside lives with our families. Occasionally it takes us a day or two to address issues. Please be patient. We aren't ignoring the problem.

The reviewer has been contacted and we're working with her to have either her reviews/ratings removed or ours.

We appreciate your pointing this out and would ask that you understand things don't happen overnight.

I ♥ Bookie Nookie (bookienookiereviews.blogspot.com) *Gasp* You have a life outside of GR and blogs? Impressive!

Glad to hear you guys take issue with this and thanks for getting back to me - maybe there is hope for the GR rating system after all :-)

And I am certain you have already thought of this, but you should cross-check every review you guys have posted with this member as they are all double posted.

message 9: by Dahlia (new) - added it

Dahlia (yadkny) First, I would like to apologize for my tardiness on addressing this issue. Like Judy and Marianne real life took precedence.

I just wanted to add that in no way was I or for that matter The Long and Short Reviews trying to be misleading or skew the ratings in any way. And I always give credit to the review site the book was received from. When reading/reviewing I often become engrossed in what I am doing and not notice the posts/updates of other fellow GR users. Not an excuse just a fact. So this was completely unintentional and a missed opportunity on my part to realize the cross-posting before it became an issue.

I have enjoyed reviewing for LSR and use GR to keep track of the books (both purchased and received for review) that I’ve read just like many other users, but I failed to see the cross-posting aspect and how it messes with the overall ratings and could be misconstrued by other GR users in the bigger picture of this social network. The reviews/ratings for the books under LSR’s ownership have been deleted, but I will continue to keep them on my ‘read’ shelf. In fact, what I have done with them instead should be agreeable by all. Not all have been changed just yet, but they will be.

I ♥ Bookie Nookie (bookienookiereviews.blogspot.com) You guys both just kicked yourself up a few notches in the ethical department for addressing the issue - thanks for taking the time to explain and for rectifying the situation.
