I love everything about this book, because it's everything I could ever want from a utopian text (or dystopian, depending on how you look at it). It's terrifying as all hell, definitely opens your eyes, it's worth reading if you're concerned or intrigued about the effect that technology has on our lives, and societal structure.

John the Savage is a bit brutal to death with, because while he's more human than those living within the confines of modern society, he's still quite primitive and animalistic. I didn't dig the self-flagellation, to be honest. This book is pretty effing amazing considering it was written such a long time ago, and has made some strangely accurate predictions, not ridiculous ones like some fantasy/sci-fi novels.
