I love how the book appeals to adults and children alike, and I still adore it years after I initially read it is a pre-teen. The description of the adventures concerning the Philosopher's Stone are vivid and amazing, and anything is possible without the author abusing that.

It makes you think without being too confusing, and even though it's dark, it's still entertaining and appropriate for young minds. I love the way real life occurrences and people such as Nicholas Flamel were used in the text, and everything is well researched.
