Not the most exquisitely told story. You won't walk into this turning pages because it's a gripping story. If you're like me, you know the story and followed it. What this book does masterfully is give you rich details, characters and insights, especially when it comes to the greatest game no one has ever seen. He also does a great job of structuring chapters. In one, he sets the stage and then leaves you hanging while you get the backstory, only to come back to it by chapters end. In another the tension just keeps building as Kokuc is hounded by Jordan and Pippen. I loved this book. You know it's good when you want to talk about it all the time. If anything. It added a rich depth to an already wonderful childhood memory.
