One of my favorite books!!! Jurek is one of the top ultra marathoners who shares his story along with the evolution of his diet, to which he credits much of his success. He chronicles his history with running, including his interesting childhood (yet again, a difficult childhood produces an outstanding individual). Jurek eats a purely plant-based diet and shares a recipe in every chapter. I found this format interesting and fun. And by the way, I've tried several of the recipes and found only one that wasn't to my liking.

If you are interested in running/exercise or diet/nutrition--or even if you just want to read about someone who reaches the pinnacle of achievement--you will enjoy this book.
