(Autobiography)—Wobbe, a Mormon, tells the story of his life from his teenage years when he and two of his friends distributed anti-Hitler pamphlets in pre-World War II Germany. His friend who wrote the pamphlets was executed while Wobbe and his other compatriot served prison terms. Wobbe’s story is inspirational because it is a memorial to the courage of ordinary people in the face of extraordinary wickedness.
