One weekend, Molly's parents go out to dinner and never come back. Then a tall, gaunt man who says he's a long-lost uncle claims custody and takes her to his house. But no matter what anybody says, Molly knows that this man is not her uncle, and that he intends some serious harm. Weaves this contemporary story-line with a creepy Native American folktale about the Skeleton Man, a man so greedy and lazy that he ate himself and his entire family.

Excellent ghost story, strong characters, exciting plot.
