I hate to give a low review for a book that I won as a Goodreads giveaway, but I have to be honest. I found Zara, the main character, a bit self-obsessed and a label whore. She didn't seem to evolve much as a person who is experiencing this amazing adventure volunteering in Africa. I didn't like her at all. Overall, the book is standard fare romantic comedy chick lit. Girl doesn't like guy. Gets to know him, falls in love. Something happens where she doubts the relationship, they are together by the end of the story in some fanciful, happily ever after way.

I would recommend if you need something light, fluffy, borderline mind-numbing, and you generally enjoy movies that star Sandra Bullock or Kate Hudson.

Christy Murphy Thank God someone else disliked this main character. I found her shallow, shallow and materialistic to an almost absurd level. I'm so tired of "humor" in chick lit being that the main character is clumsy and irrational. I was feeling like a freak after reading other reviews here. I enjoy light reading from time to time, but shallow reading--no thanks.
