I wish I could give this 3 1/2 stars. At the beginning the main thing I thought was those old aristocrats werent very original with names, too many people with the same name. Then I was trying to remember what I've read about this time period instead of really getting engaged to the story. Then finally I got into it not emotionally but still enjoyed it. This is Cecily Nevilles story. From her childhood engagement to Richard Plantagenent to the crowning of her son king Edward IV. It was pretty informative of the feelings that led to the the war of roses. I have read from this timed period mentioning Cecily Neville but this is the first time I have read her story, I will reread this and look forward to finding more books about her. An interesting lady.
