I really enjoyed reading this book. So much honestly and complexity, something usually missing in stories about young women and their friendships.

The book is about Cameron and Sonia. They met as teenagers and ended up friends because they were outcasts. This is Cameron's story. She has hidden herself from the world, only to find that her old friend Sonia has reached out to her after years of estrangement. Cameron at first ignores Sonia's attempt at reconciliation but after a life changing event she is forced to go back and deliver a package to her friend. During the journey, Cameron remembers their relationship and why they ended up parting ways. She also reconnects with an old crush who just happens to be Sonia's ex-boyfriend.

Neither woman is portrayed as perfect but neither is overtly flawed either. Stewart gives her characters real depth, real emotions, and the ending is perfect. Such a great book!
