Finally, a group theory book that explains how to calculate character tables! I've been going through a ton of group theory books lately and this seems to be the most comprehensive of them. All you need is a solid math background, but I know almost no chemistry and got through this book just fine.

Anthony Shaw Hi, another book that goes into calculating character tables is

Excellent book just note composition of functions notation is applied innermost left to outermost right.

I want to mention for a great historical perspective there is
