it was amazing

i just finished this book and was completely blown away. To be honest I wasn't expecting much, I've read more than one take on desendents of Sherlock Holmes before and none of them have been even close to this intelligent. Though Dora is not my favorite name as it makes me picture a small Spanish-speaking cartoon, this character truly lives up to the role of Holmes daughter. I especially enjoyed the honesty of the book, meaning you could feel what Dora did and didn't at any point want to scream "He's in love with you idiot!" or anything. In the majority of books i read about teenage girls, I feel vastly superior to them but Dora was one girl who I'd feel no shame aspiring to be like.
