I remembered the old TV series and figured this audiobook would be at least somewhat entertaining. I was not expecting a lot and it pretty much lived up to my expectations. It was entertaining, but I guessed the villain without a whole lot of trouble. It was a good listen for a family beach trip where there were long stretches where I wasn't listening. I had no trouble remembering what was going on as there was no complexity. My biggest quibble was that the main character with the same name as the author has a strong accent while her fellow Cabot Cove resident who comes with her on the cruise has no accent at all. Certainly a quibble that deserves a "picky, picky, picky" response.
