it was amazing

My only experience with the MacDonald case(s) is through Malcolm's book, so I don't have much of a background - but Morris' in-depth study brings much, much more to the table (as it is more concerned with legal guilt v. objective guilt, etc. than the journalist/subject relationship) than what I've seen of other books. Well written (and well designed) with many original interviews and voluminous references while giving you some good ol Errol epistemological conundrums and Poe tie-ins. Expect much.
