Most people probably think of the movie when they think of The Crow, and that's cool because it's one of my favorite movies, largely because I love the gorgeous look of it. Or maybe people think of the crappy sequels and crappier TV spin-offs. Or the inevitable Goth backlash. All of which is unfortunate. But really, people should think of the graphic novel first and foremost, because it is awesome. It's a simple black-and-white comic that tells a story that cuts right to my heart. I might just go home and re-read it tonight.
