Read from August 05 to 07, 2012

Myron Bolitar is an adequate but not outstanding sports agent. He has seldom had the star athlete in his book of business, and now he has Christian Steele. He is about the finagle a really good deal for both his athlete and himself...a chance to move up in the sports agent league. And, then a missing (presumably dead) young woman comes into the picture.

Myron attempts to solve the mystery of her presumed death and the connection to his athlete with the help of his partner and office assistant. Myron is a more inept investigator than he is a sports agent, so he continues to muddy the water and create more questions than he does providing answers.

In the end, there were quite a few twists, which I liked. Overall, Myron in a character that grew on me. I ended up liking him a lot.

I enjoyed the book and the twist. I found that I liked Mr. Coben's writing style a lot. I will continue to read this series.
