Struggling through this....75% finished, and am hoping for a satisfying ending to help me over the fact that Ms Blair's writing style is pedantic and too Canadian.

Ok...finished now....a couple of surprises at the end, but still a "mehhhhh" rating.

Nicole what does it mean when someones writing is too Canadian?

Aleisha Z Coleman hahaha...i don't know what that means to be "too canadian" but it made me laugh...love some clarification on "too canadian":)

Krista Well, I knew that was going to cause me grief. So, to explain....

If an American had been the author, I wonder if she would have taken the time to explain a section of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms(thus the pedantic adjective)(and a hell of a long name) or whether she would be writing for her own public and the rest of the world would either know or better catch up....(like, who hasn't heard of the Bill of Rights?).

Anyway, being Canadian, I don't need a lecture on Canadian terminology and if I were not, I bet I'd be smart enough to figure it out and know that Ottawa is the capital....just annoying. Damn the torpedos and forge ahead!!!
