Into the Night: Jessie is a radio copy writer/late-night DJ. Tony is the owner of the station and her co-host of Into the Night with the Falcon and the Fox. They have a little flirtation that is sent into hyperspeed by a stalker. I was a little turned off by the description of Tony as an Italian stallion, but then again this was written in the early 90s, when I was in high school and whorls of chest hair were über sexy. :| Overall ok. 4 stars

Man Around the House: Katie and Matthew are neighbors who meet under interesting circumstances - she gets her toe stuck in the bathtub faucet, and he hears and rescues her. For the next few months, they fight their mutual attraction while he "rescues" her from various scrapes that she gets into by trying to do things around the house by herself (um, sexist much?). Of course, she attracts her own stalker by doing her job, and Matthew comes to her rescue. Because he is an independent building contractor, and they are usually the guys who save the day in hostage situations. Yep. Uh huh. It got a little purple prose-y. Overall less than ok. 2 stars

Cindy Gerard is one of my favorite romantic suspense authors, and it is clear that time and practice have done wonders for her writing. This is probably only for the die-hard old-time Loveswept fans.
