I enjoyed it, but for a couple of points: Dresden is indeed a chauvinist with a ridiculous hero complex. And there is a HUGE plot hole related to the climax (to keep this spoiler-free, I'll just say that the bad guys' plan counts on a certain character coming to a certain place at a certain time - despite the fact that in the state that character is in, they have absolutely no reason to do so).

That being said, it's a fun world Butcher has created, and I love his take on werewolves (that there are many kinds, all of which are represented). I'll keep on with the series, especially with the hint of an ongoing mythology to continue through books to come.
