This is another sweet fairly lightweight read from the Fool's Gold Series. Shayne is a nice guy who made a total stuff up with his marriage to a drama queen who couldn't stay faithful for 10 minutes. He comes home with a whole lot of issues and is looking to find a sedate woman to settle down with. Someone like the librarian.

Only he's already spotted Annabelle and he's a bit worried that the instant attraction he felt for the fiery livewire might distract him. No way is he going down that track again.

Imagine his dismay when the librarian and the seductive Annabelle are one and the same. Thrown together by Annabelle's need for his horse training skills they fight all the way to their happy ending. It's an enjoyable read and the characters are engaging.

Small town romances seem very popular at the moment. The thing that bothers me with this series is that we see old characters popping up constantly for an update and the moment someone new is mentioned you know they are being dragged in for a setup for a book further down the track. It's all a bit too obvious and distracts from the present romance.
