Was very lucky to get a look at this when my friend Abby Green picked up a copy from Victoria Dahl at RWA book-signing... Then couldn't put it down. Read it cover to cover in 24 hours and can honestly say it's one of my favourite Victoria Dahl's now. Adored the crisp clean Jackson Hole Wyoming setting (who knew there was a difference between Elk and Deer... Not me!). Also fell totally in love with her big sexy and tortured cowboy hero Cole Rawlins, whose weakness for bad girls leads to a fling with new neighbour Grace Barrett, a prickly, down-on-her-luck makeup artist with purple hair and a tatoo.. Grace is running away from her soul-destroying past in LA, and Cole too is licking his wounds after a disastrous fling ten years before with a Hollywood diva. When the movie people come back to town both their pasts are gonna come chasing after them though - and suddenly Grace is faced with letting Cole see the soft heart behind all those rough edges and Cole finds himself falling in love for real this time. And, just in case you were wondering, the sex scenes are seriously scalding too. In fact, I'm still fanning myself here!
