You know those stories that just suck you in right from the very beginning? This is one such story. There isn't much detailed world building and the story doesn't focus on too many characters. But the author managed to make me relate to the characters. So much so that the ending made me really sad.
Imagine a world where books have been banned. Where the Powers That Be hold all the keys to knowledge and information. And then think what would bring hope back into such a world! This is the story about such a place and the synopsis doesn't do it justice. It doesn't tell you how amazing this book is.
3.5 stars!
