This has everything I love in a romance novel ... excellent writing quality, a plot that does not need to rely on tense suspense elements for interest, engaging characters who experience personal growth over the course of the story, secondary characters who matter to the plot, and humor. The friends and family of our protagonists serve to help them come to understanding of their feelings, and the ghost's mystery story arc over the three books of the trilogy is resolved.

I like that Lizzy is so protective of Hope, it leads to a great funny middle-of-the-night scene. You'll also enjoy the garden hose mishap.

You'll just have to read it, I won't spill the beans.

Keeper shelf for me.

At $280+ per night I'll skip it, thanks.
