A South American drug lord has slipped into New York to see his daughter
graduate from college but the NYPD has been tipped off and detective
Michael Bennett manages to catch him. Suddenly all kinds of violence starts
in the city and a judge is murdered in her courtroom. The mayor demands
that Michael find a way to stop it. Michael decides to take a much needed
vacation to upstste N.Y. with his 10 kids and their nanny Mary Catherine but
instead of escaping the violence the family finds themselves in the middle of
another nightmare. The danger not only comes from the crime lords killers but
FBI agent Emily Parker. Michael is attracted to her and endangers his
relationship to Mary Catherine. I don't know who wrote the book, Patterson
or Michael Ledwidge I suspect both and they did a very good job. Also from
the ending I expect an addition shortly.
