it was ok
bookshelves: fiction
Read in December, 2006

I'm afraid this one fell into the Chinese food category for me. It was satisfying when I read it, but I retained almost nothing, and even allowing for my increasingly faulty memory, to have had to look up the plotline after just seven months is not a good sign. I think Whitehead intended a much weightier impact with his messages of what constitutes justice, embedded in a send-up of modern marketing, than I absorbed.
