I can imagine reactions to this book are and will be polar. The characters are quite despicable, and the story is a bit outlandish. But strangely enough, I was drawn to the heavily flawed characters, and I found Gillian Flynn's novel to be a breath of fresh air from the norm -- books containing protagonists as likable people. This connect-the-dots story told through two conflicting perspectives is certainly worth checking out.
