And here is where I started to lose sleep! I finished this series in a matter of a couple of weeks... and that includes the time that I spent getting lost finding a library (in my defense, I just moved and there are like 12 branches)and getting a card, so I can check out the last book in hardcover! I might even say I wasn't very pleasant to be around for that time too - I was sleep deprived and I do love my sleep!!! Similar to one of the reviewers on the book jacket, I would find myself thinking that I would read just a little before bed and put it down begrudgingly so I could catch a few hours. I would then pick it up right after my alarm went off in the morning and try not to be (too) late for work while I read in the car in the parking lot!

So, imagine my surprise when I started reading this book to find out my favorite male character to date has gone through a transformation of sorts - thanks to some withciness - and is bunking with Sookie. She knows more about him than he does and that is unsettling on many levels. and oh so much fun! As I said before, these books are the equivalent of a supernatural soap opera. You just get hooked and have to find out what happens next. We get some new characters here and the witchcraft angle gets some shine...

Easy to read, hard to put down!
