Jacque always knew that she was different from her two best friends. Not having known her father, but always having her mother their to know what was best for her, she knew that she was meant for something special to happen to her in her future. And when the neighbors foreign exchange student moved into the house next door, Jacque responded to Fane as if she knew that there would be a place for them together in their near future. However, she did'nt know that in order for them to be with one another, Fane would have to fight for her keeps by the challenge of a wolf, fight to the death. And she also was unaware that her life would depend on the continuing survival of the werewolf race.

Truly romantic! Suspense with every turn of the page! Jacque and Fane's love for each other! Loved this book and was sucked in right from the first page!
