A very good summary of the case against Obama. For those who read the Wall Street Journal or National Review, there's perhaps not a lot new here. What's different is that this book contains a lot of quotes from important people, formerly close to Obama, who have been disappointed or worse by his performance. Surveying the evidence, including what's in this book, it's not hard to understand why a significant, and increasing, number of Americans are dissatisfied with Obama and his performance. What's harder to understand is the total disconnect between that statistic of dissatisfaction and the fact that, nevertheless, Obama still leads Romney in most polls. Romney may not be the ideal candidate, but he's certainly a decent candidate, and stronger than McCain was. Any other past president with Obama's record, and in this terrible economy, would be on his way to defeat this year. So what's going on here? One possible explanation: Although nothing has been said about it, and there hasn't been any polling reported on the question, many voters may be unwilling to vote for a Mormon.
