Read from July 28 to August 02, 2012

What you would expect from Jeffery Deaver and its a typically good read, with lots of plot twists and turns to keep one enthralled right through to page 377. This time its Deaver's "other" character, Kathryn Dance who is at the sharp end of the story. Dance is on a private miossion to record some local downhome musicians in Fresno, while also visiting her own country music star buddy Kayleigh Towne. From there it all happens in a rush as an obsessive fan seems out to kill not Kayleigh herself but those close to her. From there the plot gets seriously complicated and unpredictable. There's even a cameo performance from Lincoln Rhyme and Amelia Sacks to add extra flavour. XO is simply just a good Jeffery Deaver thriller.
