I'm not normally into romance. It isn't my thing. However, what I liked about this book was some of the ideas of Heaven which are definitely not saintly and suffer from what seems like a hidden dictatorship. I can see shades of Milton's Paradise Lost and Faust.
I also liked the contrast between the heroine's life in Heaven and her life on Earth. The plot bowls along and delivers twists like a thriller. Highly recommended.
