This book seemed really rushed to me, which was disappointing since it was my first time picking up the Undead series again after several years and I was hoping for more. It entertained me for the one or two hours it took me to breeze through it, but I felt like a lot of the plot threads didn't really go anywhere and that Betsy never actually did very much. We barely get to know the European vampires the cover flap blurb promised at all, and the other major element (view spoiler) really didn't seem to amount to much when all was said and done.

(view spoiler)

However, as rushed as it was, I'm assuming it was rushed so the author could get to something better: Betsy and Eric's wedding. I'm definitely going to stick with this series for at least a little while longer to see how that turns out.
