A science book that reminded me a lot of the smart and witty style of Mary Roach (of Bonk, Stiff, Spook, etc.), and the studied, ecological reporting of Sandra Steingraber (Living Downstream, Having Faith, etc.). Only the early chapter on breast enhancement surgery didn't interest me; all the rest -- including the chapters on lactation and on cancer and environmental effects -- were fascinating. Audio version recommended.
