Joel C. Rosenberg writes at a blistering pace with interesting mixes of real life drama and complication (this is a sequel to a book about the 12th Imam and his rise) that also takes the Middle East and its political/religious challenges to the brink of a World War. Central characters are well-developed, flawed, interesting and real. There is a strong commitment to Christian religious doctrine here that may be a bit much for some readers.
