I read this chapter book each night to my sons and they seemed to enjoy it. My 5 year old said he REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVED IT. Lulu is saving up money for something super special. She wants to get a job, but she doesn't really know what, and she is afraid that the goody-two-shoes from her class will interfere. His name is Fleischmann. Will she be able to avoid him? Will she be able to do a job well done? My major issue with this book was that there was a lot of whiny dialogue throughout it. Thankfully my boys picked up on it and didn't imitate it.
