Wow. PROPHECY OF THE SISTERS is a dark, spooky, gothic beauty of a book that literally took my breath away. The writing is gorgeous and the story is enthralling, mysterious and enchanting. It's got suspense, magic, romance and plenty of twists and turns that will leave readers hanging on every word. The beautiful and vivid imagery will blur the lines of fantasy and reality.

It is the year 1890 and Lia and her twin sister Alice stand in the graveyard. They and their younger brother Henry are now orphans. Many years ago they lost their mother, and now they are left alone after the sudden death of their father. The three of them have each other, a big lonely house and their Aunt Virginia, who is the twin to their departed mother. At a time when the family should be coming together, Lia begins to notice that Alice has been acting strange and distant. They were once very close but now Lia hardly knows her twin and worries about her odd behavior. Perhaps it is only because of grief over the loss of their father, but Lia fears there is more to it than that. Clues begin to emerge that speak of a prophesy involving the two girls that makes them destined to be enemies. Darkness and shadows approach and nobody can be trusted. Even in dreams there is no safety and the arms of her beloved no longer provide security. As Lia is pulled deeper into the mystery, she must decide what is most important to her. If she is unable to summon the courage and conviction to fight the coming evil, it could mean devastating consequences for the world.

Fans of Historical Fantasy will devour this hauntingly unforgettable book and wait with bated breath for the next installment in the trilogy.
