It's hard to give this one 5 stars or no stars. This series is usually a 5 for me every year, but this year's selections cast a dark shadow over my all ready gloomy fall. I can't really blame the new Series Editor and in a way I don't want to dis on Stephen King because that's too easy, but someone's got to take the blame. These stories are all about death or old people or old people dying. Some are great, and deserve to be recognized. But seriously, there wasn't one good story about young or middle aged people who were doing anything besides dying or dealing with death?

In conclusion: Stephen King likes stories about death. Go figure...
