really liked it

One of original and definitive works on Cognitive Psychology, Dr. Burns' book Feeling Good is an invaluable starting point for those looking to recognize origins and patterns behind emotional response so that negatives can be minimized and positives can be ingrained. If the brain is a computer, this is a programming manual.

I first read Feeling Good 25 years ago. So many have built on Dr. Burns' work since, that it's hard not to see this book as a pillar of what has become an industry related to self-improvement.
