Royte does it again with another stellar expose, this time about water, at once luxury and necessity. This book will change the way you look at bottled water, fine and standard, and tap water and the way our public water is administered.

What makes this book so good is that Royte is an expert storyteller. She makes something that could be absolutely snoring into a journey of discovery and problem solving. She's never one-sided and offers practical ideas at helping do your part to make the best possible choice in a world fraught with complexity. If you liked Garbageland, you'll find this book as life-changing and fascinating, if not more so.
