4 out of 5 HOWLS

Tie-in books are easy to read, because you already know the characters and have a hint about what they will be up to. The challenge for the author IMO is to keep those characters true.

In COYOTE'S KISS, Faust does a good job of this. Sam has lost his soul and is in a bit of a funk about it. Dean doesn't trust Sam. Heading off to Mexico doesn't help things as a van full of illegals has something else lurking inside.

The brother's natural flowing banter from the t.v. series stayed true, which for me, is a big plus.
