This book tells the story of Ginny's seventh grade year through notes, comic strips, IMs with friends, newspaper clippings, and homework assignments(to name a few). It gave both humorous and touching glimpses into the events that effected Ginny's year (dyed hair pink, older brother's behavioral problems, mother remarried).

I liked this pace of this book (I read it during my lunch break today) and think my middle school students would enjoy it.
