horrible. the first book was great. the idea to have the second book have the exact same plot as the first book but with a focus on a different couple was redundant, lazy, and annoying. as a friend said, she should have had both stories occur in the same book, or rather have the second plot occur after the first book's plot concluded. i know stephanie meyer was toying with doing the twilight book over entirely from edward's perspective, and I just think this technique is disrespectful to readers who deserve a new treat with each work. poorly played julia quinn.
