From the first sentence, this book put me under a spell. It was an enchanting and wonderful read! Debra has the talent of making the characters and their emotions tangible and relate-able in a way that made me feel as if I were experiencing these events with them. She told the stories of her characters in such a way that I felt I could picture them, and wanted to join them in this experience. This tragic tale danced through my imagination. In short, a wonderful read and a hauntingly beautiful story.
