did not like it
bookshelves: nonfiction, yucky-did-not-finish

This book is in some serious need of editing. The anecdotes about Dewey were cute, but the long winded history of small town Iowa and the author were too much for me.

I didn't finish this book and I wish I had the two hours back that I gave to it.

Kelly You were probably wise to give it up. It was poorly written as far as animal stories go. Seabiscuit is still the best!

message 2: by Linda (new)

Linda Wow....when you don't like something, you really don't like it....good for you, you cliche! Thanks for saving me the trouble.....

Sharon Maybe Myron was trying to educate us on the area of Spencer, Iowa, as well as, tell a charming story.
