Wonderful second book of the Sally Sin series. This time the story brings to light more of Sally/Lucy's backstory. Neatly done, the story has a sub-plot involving Lucy & Will's search for the "right" school for son Theo, as Sally secretly works to release the director of the spy agency she retired from the clutches of the people who have kidnapped him.
Along the way there was plenty of encounters with illegal arms dealer Ian Blackford, which are delighful to read, though often challenging for Sally.
Everything about this book was spot on; the plot, the characters, the pacing...
The only problem is when you're done with the book you end up counting the months, weeks, days, hours until the next one is released.
